Fresh & addictiv
Love it & wait for it !
okay content. no links: not even TOC.
I bought the 2013 Buyers Guide. VERY BAD: many pages have little icons which are clearly intended to be links to web pages or product videos. These would be very helpful. But they DO NOT WORK. At least not on my iPad. Maybe there is a kindle version or something that works? EVEN THE TABLE OF CONTENTS IS NOT LINKED. Thats right. Want to see "Slingshot?" Have fun scrolling to page 160. The actual content is not bad. I was hoping for some actual reviews and recommendations. Basically each vendor gets a page or two, and there is a list of gear from each with pictures and a brief Q&A format marketing pitch. I guess I was expecting too much based on the word "Guide" in the title. It does provide a nice list of gear to check out online, but since the links dont work I feel like I would have been better off just searching harder for a good online article. Apparently you can buy a PDF on the publishers site that has links that work - I didnt want to give them another $4 so I dont know for sure.
Great Content!
Ive been getting the print version of The Kiteboarder and I really like being able to read the content on my iPad now. I was also really surprised to see additional issues that are not released in print. Everything works great and its really easy to read. The photos look great! I also downloaded the Buyers guide and all the links worked for me!
